I am currently an assistant professor of Accounting at Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. I obtained my Ph.D. from Emory University in 2017. I have a B.S.B.A. in accounting and B.S. in math from The Ohio State University, and a master's in applied statistics from Cornell University.
I grew up in four countries in three continents and am proud to call Vancouver, Canada my home. My upbringing makes me appreciate equity, diversity and inclusion in all forms. In my classroom, I am dedicated to providing a safe environment to all my students and allowing them to freely express themselves with respect to others.
My hobbies include hip-hop dancing, painting (oil, gouache, watercolor), metal art work, yoga, traveling, photography, snowboarding, and surfing.
